When the fish is intended for juveniles, the kingfisher flips it so it is always offered head first. The adult moves into the corridor of its nest and serves the fish to the young ones, who wait for their turn to eat in a well-organized noria? movement in the back of the chamber. During feeding season an adult can capture up to 80 fishes a day, which requires a frantic pace. No wonder it's called the kingfisher!

It will stand out in your garden, giving it a touch a color and poetry.

Cut, shaped, welded and painted entirely by hand at our workshop in Harare. We take great care to achieve resemblance in morphology, color and attitude.
